When I first opened my Twin Brooks shop here on Etsy, I specialized only in mosaic art. I am a completely self taught artist and created my first mosaic piece in 2007, it was a flower pot for my mother for Mother's Day. Since then, I have created MANY flower pots and other mosaic pieces and used many different techniques. I am honored to have been commissioned to create several custom pieces for a breast cancer survivor to give as gifts to her team of doctors and surgeons. It was a privilege to work with her and those pieces hold a special place in my heart.

Even as a child, I always had a need to use my hands to make things. To this day, my mom still has some artwork from my childhood. My bedroom, as a child, was also my studio where lots of creativity happened. As an adult, I still have the need to try something new. Because of this, I have expanded my shop to include several different types of jewelry as well as my mosaic art.
